Wire & Canvas Mallard Drake

Postby DucknGoodTime » Fri Nov 01, 2013 9:58 am

Got started kind of late but this is the first of 6 Mallards for my rig that I'll use this season.

The wife and I are going out of town this weekend so it wont get painted till next week. I only made one at first because its a pattern that I just drew up and have learned to build up one first to see if the pattern needs to be tweaked.
Anyway, everyone have a safe great hunt.

Blessings,
Rick

It looks nice ! Let's see the finished product.
Someday I've got to try that method.

A series of events, both personal and business wise, has kept me out of the shop but I managed to get 3 more breast pieces carved and hollowed. Im waiting on a new bandsaw blade now, broke 2 cutting out heads.
Im holding off painting till I have them all ready.
