Pictures and shine question

Postby slickerhater » Fri Jan 24, 2014 8:57 pm

Im wanting to post some pics of some Herters I repainted but don't know how and I'm also wondering how to take the shine off of them. I sprayed them with some matte craft sealer but it's to shiny and I really don't want to start over and repaint them. Thanks in advance. If someone could post the pics for me I'd appreciate it

posting pictures can be challenging,...the biggest hurdle is making sure they aren't larger than 1mb. If you can't adjust your camera settings you'll have to find a program that reduces the picture size before you try to post it.

Regarding the 'shine'
buy some Krylon FLAT spray (dead flat,...not matte) and give one of your dekes a light overcoat and see if it helps. Any clear coat should be applied with light coats to avoid any sheen.

Hope this helps.

thanks! I repainted them several years ago and haven't even used them because of the shine
