I have used PVC conduit in the past and it works well. The square tubing pole that comes with your mojo will actually fit inside the female end of the conduit. The only downside is you can't use it in deeper water that does not have a softer bottom, because there is a lot of flex in the conduit it doesn't seem to go it nearly as well. I'm thinking of buying some square tubing this year and making my own extension poles that can very in depths like mojo offers. Should be cheaper... but my idea only costs you $2.50 if you have some paint to cover up the pole.
1/2 inch Electical conduit. A 10 ft section is 3-5 bucks at Home Depot(cant remember) I buy a few every year.....a can of Krylon camo paint...and you are good to go. The square top fits right over the round pipe for the top - then I smash the other end flat to act as a 'stake' and not to let it get filled with mud.
I like both those ideas and ill prob go to lowes tommorow and pick up a piece of conduit
appreciate it
