Fill in Decoys

Postby rsamuelson90 » Thu Feb 27, 2014 10:26 pm

Alright I have my go to set of 40-60 decoys, but this past season I teamed up with a couple buddies and we were throwing huge decoy rigs 120+ when it got to late season mixed of divers/puddlers. I am wanting to get that many of my own but would like to find cheap or even used decoys to double my spread. Does any one know where I can find decoys for super cheap, I know one of my friends is from Texas where he got decoys for dirt cheap at Academy Sports. I live in illinois so we don't have any stores with deals like that around here.

Anyone got any ideas or places to check out online? Garage sale season is right around the corner but don't wanna rely on that for getting numbers of decoys.

Keep an eye on the classifieds and craigslist. I would buy GHG Hot Buys for filler decoys.

Put up an ad on craigslist offering to buy decoys at $0.50 cents to $1 each...that will get you a decoy spread for cheap.
