New Avian X FB mallards

Postby MO duck slayer » Wed Mar 05, 2014 10:01 am

Has anyone seen these on Rodgers? http://www.rogerssportinggoods.com/avia ... 22816.html
What are your thoughts? I'm very unimpressed, price and looks.

I like the looks of them and we both know we would pay premium for them...just like Dakotas wait a year or two and price will drop substantially.

Honestly I don't think they look that great. I mean they will kill ducks but I would still use the old ghg ones.

I don't see much of a difference between the ghg and the avian x fb same mold and body positions I wish they were like the fb geese and were more life like

Just curious, what would make them more "life like"?

Honestly the fuzzy pic they have on the site doesnt do them any good. I think the bodies look excellent. but the heads look a little off colored to me. but overall I like them other than the price!

But I've got Dakota's and so far I'm happy with them for the few times I've got to use them.

Yah, one of my main questions was where are all the other new species they are supposed to be coming out with?

The pictures look good. As one who just got a dozen GHG FB ProGrades, I wish I'd gotten the Avian-X FB's. The ProGrades were on sale at $85/6...that's $170 a dozen for you math majors. The ProGrades have chipped paint (minor) as they came out of their plastic bags, and the paint scheme has some obvious errors.

Avian-X floaters have been very good for me for several seasons....but that price on the FB's is outrageous.

Now, where's them full body greenwings....................??
