Isn't it amazing what those guys got away with years ago...and I'm sure they slayed ducks over them....now we got battery powered, fully flocked, spinning wings.....
I'm sure we over think the decoys more than we should. This brand is the most realistic, etc, in reality when the ducks are close enough to see any sort of detail, the dog should be on it's way out for a retrieve.

According to a collector I email these are Oscar Quam decoys from the 30s or 40s. He was a MN decoy maker. The bluebill actually says Quam on the anchor as well as the keel weight.
Now if only I could get my hands on grandpas old shotgun I could really spruce up a wall in the house.
