Found some decoys

I found some old decoys in a barn I was tearing down,and asked the owner if he wanted them,he said no,and now I have taken them in from my carport and looked into the decoys,they are made by a company in Berkley Cal. called Plasti-Duk,and these are model S10, pintails ! Interesting enough we do not have a lot of pintail ducks in Vermont! So it is odd that there is a doz of these in there,that I have cleaned up and now look really good,but I was wondering if there is any value too these decoys? They are nice and I might just hang them up in the man cave?

Here are some pics,there was also a hen mallard mixed in there! And some old foam or cork ones also!

Nice find Pete.

Clean and / or display the old ones in your man cave and I will adopt the pintails so they can work here in Texas.
As a right to work state I will ensure they enjoy room and board and participate in Obama care.

I will send an annual report (suitable for framing) informing you of their successes.

I await your response so I can arrange their travel plans.

I looked them up on google,and these decoys are not being made by the company Neumann & Bennett inc. in Berkley Cal, they do make a pintail,but the model number is BP25 and the ones I have are S10? So I guess I might keep them! :thumbsup:

However RC I thought your response was very good ! I do appreciate the fact that you would make sure they received their due rights within The Great State of Texas!lol

Found out thru a guy on eBay that N&B Plasti-Duk was in Berkley Cal,but moved to another place in Oregon in the 60-70's and that more than likely my decoys are from the 50's! :thumbsup:

I find it interesting that, in that group of hens, the decoy with the bill color of a mallard has the speculum color of a pintail, while the hens painted with the bill colors of a pintail have the speculum color of mallards. :huh: :lol3:
