G&H Repaints

Postby Mean Gene » Thu Mar 20, 2014 11:26 am

My shoulder is good enough to do some work now so I got a few repaints ready for delivery. These are a few out of several dozen I have ready for a guy.

Those look great. I have a dozen G&H that could use that treatment. Nice!

Best looking Henryetta's I've ever seen.

Gene, the white band just ahead of the black rump on the drakes? ......you have GOT to get that corrected! Look at a picture of a greenhead, see how the white band goes all the way around the black rump. I know, I know; the ducks don't care......
But, if you're make faux ducks, you might as well make them the best that you can.

Yeah, you're right. I'll change that in the future.

Gene,
What are the flock colors on the hens?
Where did you get the flock?

I was hoping so!
I'd just put in an order for Goose Grey, Wine, and Feather Brown from 'Flock It' before I saw Gene's hens.
Jill is the one I talked to there when inquiring about a special clear flock I'm wanting. She's very helpful, and I'm hoping she gets what I want.
I almost ordered 'Cream' as well but, but I'm gonna see if I can mix what I want out of what I'm getting first,

Hens start off all feather brown. The other colors are all airbrushed.
