Vortex Help

Postby JIMBO89 » Thu Dec 18, 2008 12:49 pm

I just bought the Cabelas Vortex Rotating Spinning Wing System, and I would like to avoid all the problems that people say they have with it. Any suggestions on how to prevent the problems? Also I'm going to use the airlucky windducks. Will those work?

The Airlucky or Winducks will both work. I use Airlucky because I like its full body configuration. I remove the hanging legs and bolts to lighten them up. It`s easier on the motor. I only run the Vortex when ducks are spotted to prolong motor life and reduce motor overheating. The Vortex is a great attractor but really shows its stuff in a dry field environment. My unit is on its third season without a failure.
