Goose spread for sale...

Postby nbg42 » Sun Jan 01, 2006 12:23 pm

I am selling my Canada goose spread, as I just don't hunt these birds anymore and the decoys are taking up space in my shed. The spread includes 1 dozen Outlaw goose silos in standard size, 2 dozen MR2 silos (corrugated plastic material), 1 dozen windsocks with painted cheek patches, and 6 G&H field decoys. Also, 1 silo bag which can carry all of the decoys. Stakes are also included. I think I have used these decoys maybe 6 times over the last 4 or 5 years, and all of the silos are in good shape. Asking $165 plus shipping. Email me if interested. I have photos and can send those to you.

Regards,
Nathan

MR2s and Outlaws...

Postby nbg42 » Mon Jan 02, 2006 8:41 am

I am not sure who made the MR2 silos. I bought these about 4 years ago from a guy in Iowa, who I believe was a distributor. I've tried to find the company to purchase more silos from them, but have been unsuccesful. I paid $65 for these 4 years ago. These are great decoys and are similar to the Outlaws. They are dead flat and look very realistic from a distance. They have worked great for geese in the past, and just suck them right in. I just don't hunt geese that much anymore. I'll see if I can attach some pictures.

How much for a dozen silos and the 6 field decoys?
The group ended up with 420 birds.

Did the kid sitting in front of the decoys ever help bring the birds in and if so how much for the kid? LOL
