1st of all welcome to the site!

If you have some spare mallard or similar decoys you can paint them a flat black and if you want detail you can melt the beeks down and pain the eyes red.

I have 6 brand new G&H Coot decoys along with a whole bunch of other types, (especially diver duck decoys), I bought from an older gentleman who never used any of them. I would sell them for $27.00 plus shipping. They sell new in Cabela's for $77.99 per doz. A Half dozen would be $ 39.00. $ 27.00 is just under 30% off. Thanks - Jeff

The Lakes I hunt are usually full of coots. They are great confidence decoys..
