2009 Beavertail 18 ft boat, 2009 Mud Buddy 35 motor & blind

For sale is a very, very nice duck boat. You'd be hard pressed to find a better rig or one in better condition, guaranteed. Boat is located in Kansas.

--It's a 2009 Beavertail 18 ft boat, 19 ft with the flotation pods on the back -- excellent condition in every aspect.
--It has a 35 hp Vanguard surface drive Mud Buddy HD Sport motor -- no hour meter installed but guaranteed less than 100 hours. Motor has always been reliable and not been a "problem motor" at all.
--A 19ft Yacht trailer with 13" wheels -- excellent condition in every aspect.

Options include:
Trailer has a spare tire with mount.
Swamp Lights 1000 ft beam.
Navigation lights front/back.
Interior LED Lights.
Switch panel. (for lights)
5 seat bases.
3 hydraulic pedestal seats.
Trolling motor mount & wiring.
Neo Mats from Styx River - $279.00 (these really work good this past year. Kept the boat quiet & the dog a lot warmer. No slippery floor with ice)
Avery Outdoors Quick-Set Duck Boat Blind - $600.00
Custom made Boat Cover - $500.00.

The boat specs can be viewed at http://www.explorebeavertail.com/aluminumboats.html.

I talked to the boat manager today at Beavertail and he said a new boat, motor, and trailer with these options would cost $18,310.00. That does not take into account the spare tire, boat cover, mats & boat blind. So new, you're looking at $22k +/-. This boat is ready to go in every way, shape and form.

Asking $15,000.00 for the boat, motor and trailer.

Disclaimer: I am listing this boat for sale for the gentleman that got me involved in duck hunting. He is now getting up in years a little bit and wants to sell the duck boat. PM me and I will get you his phone number for the two of you to proceed on any transaction.

Hello Okie, Long time no talk. Hope all has been well with you.

Bottom is 54" wide and transom height is 16" (with the pods there's no concern of water coming over the transom).

Also, boat is located in Wichita, KS.

It's going great. Hope all is well up your direction, Matt.

I was considering bumping up to a little bigger boat from my 1756 Triton. Thought I would run my Mercury 50hp 4-stroke on it. I really like the open plan of the Beavertail. How does it function in say 2-3' swells?

I appreciate the info.

Bump for a really nice boat. Had one just like it. Wish I could've afforded to keep it as well.

Honestly, I can't answer how it handles 2-3' swells. I've just not experienced those conditions while hunting with Jerry (owner). We don't get those conditions too often on the places we hunt this boat. I'd have to think due to the length and the quality of the boat that it would smooth things out pretty well on windy days and I will say I've never wished for more boat when hunting it. It's always been a pleasure to ride in and hunt out of. I do like the idea of running an outboard on the boat unless you need / want a mud buddy.

I have the same boat and it is been great! How did that boat run with that motor and SD (speeds and turns)? Curious how it works with my pods and surface drive.
