Gulf Shores

Postby savducksunlimited » Sat Jun 02, 2012 10:01 am

I have an opportunity to move to Gulf Shores in the near future. I'm currently in IL. Was looking for some info on WMA's or public places to hunt in that area. Just want to know what I'm getting my self into. PMs are fine if you dont want to post on here.

Thanks in advance.

Pretty much everything along the gulf coast in Baldwin County is incorporated as Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. I have seen rafts of birds out in the open water, but not sure if there is any huntable areas. You will need to travel some in order to hunt. The nearest place with ducks will be the Mobile River Delta. It's huge, full of hunters, limited ducks and with birds that get blind and call shy very quickly.
