North Alabama Dogs (where to find the best)

Postby DuckHunt80 » Wed Jun 20, 2012 2:49 pm

Despite my desire to have a Chesapeake, I have finally decided that a (black) lab will be the most suitable choice. Im in the Hville area but have most of my hunting connections in Northeast Alabama. Any suggestions on who has the best bloodlines?

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for in your next dog, but you can begin by checking out Whistling Wings Kennel in Union Grove. Even if he doesn't have what you want, the owner will be very helpful in your search.

Best of luck!

check the classifieds in your local news papers, also check bulletin boards at your local sporting goods stores and you can google dog kennels close to your location.

I picked up my Lab from a guy I work with here in Decatur. His last litter is already gone, but if he has another I'll let ya know. They seem to be dang good dogs. I know he's had good luck with his. Mine is coming along good too, especially considering I'm training him. He's out toward the Elkmont/Ardmore area so it shouldn't be too big a drive for ya
