to everyone here! i will be working out tommorow and will be off to the the 3rd.will be hunting here till the 24th then loading up the wife, kids,dog,etc. the 25th and heading to the lease in matagorda,tx. my computer is fried at the house but ill try to post up on the sons laptop.i wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.oh yea 12/16 3 hunters 14 birds(teal,woodies, 1 widgeon)still no big birds.12/17 christmas with my dad.also heard a new name for shovelers..."botox mallards" :yes:

Have a safe trip. I hope you have lots of luck at the lease. If your going for ducks, make sure you don't miss any of those botox mallards. UMM UMM that's some good eating there. Just wrap a coot breast with the duck breast and throw it on the grill. :laughing:

well iam back at work today. cannot get motivated. my puter is still screwed at the house. i think my checking account is in the negative,but other than that had a great 5 days in texas. ended up with 81 geese and 21 ducks.my oldest son killed one of the nicest pintail ive ever seen.the best mornning we had was 12/27 (41 geese and 8 ducks).we also killed all four species of geese,snow,specs,cacklers,and ross. that was the first time doing that in about 3 years. i hope everyone had a great holiday season. ill post some pics when i get everything squared away.

Sounds like a really good hunt. Glad you made it back safely. Can't what to see the pics.
