Actually I went to northern Mississippi. We ended up killing quite a few mallards, and gray ducks. We also managed to get some pintails and wigeon. The 2 pintails as well as one of the wigeons are going on the walls of 2 of the guys that went. We didn't kill out limits, but we sure got a lot more ducks than we would have down here in Mobile, not to mention several quality ducks.

So was this private or public land you were hunting?

It was private land, a body of water named Beaver Creek kind of near Tunica. It's owned by the surrounding lands owners. A front came through right before we got there and messed up where the birds wanted to land, but we all had a good time.

Thanks, given that the general public can't get there, likely no harm in posting the name. Glad you had a good time - went a few times over the break and posted 0's or 1's.
