just watched another flyway highway show featuring a hunt on guntersville lake; checked the local website and mallard pointe discontinued hunts; really interested in some divers (cans); any information appreciated; thinking of mid jan. thanks,jp.

There aren't very many duck guides in Alabama due to there being much better states to hunt in. If you want nice canvasbacks and a better chance of success look up Pitboss out of Maryland. He runs a guide service and I've only heard good things about him.

from what i here you only kill those by accident round these parts. ive seen a few but never killed one!

the funny thing is, where they video taped that hunt, they're right in front of a guys lake house but they're very careful not to show it in the taping, we know exactly where they hunted. its about 5 miles up river of where my huntin buddy has a lake cabin on guntersville.

you actually watch flyway highway? those idiots make me want to puke. Best to stay home if your the type who gets his ideas from a tv show, you won't kill anything.
