I got three fields planted, but I'm still trying to determine if I can get out on opening weekend or not.

I have to work next weekend, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm going to hunt a few hours.

My land is almost three hours drive from me. Makes it hard to sneak in a hunt when you have a 6 hour turn around to just get there and back.

I have to walk about 150 feet to get to mine. I've killed several in the last few years within 300 yards of the house. Between the kids and I last year we brought home 18. We may not have a bunch of ducks but we have the deer!

My son scored this evening. We didn't get to hunt the first day of youth season. But today we went for a sit. Lucky little devil has already killed 6 deer at 9 years old. Looks like another good year of deer hunting has begun!

got in a new camp between phenix city and Eufala. My dad killed an 8 point with a 16" inside spread last saturday. Great bowkill. Iv only killed a doe and a 200# hog so far, but the big ones coming. The rut is full blast down there, but cant decide whether to keep bowhunting or whip out the rfle this weekend.

Well I saw plenty, but didn't shoot. I had 3 does, 6 fawns, a 2 year old 8 point, and a yearling 4 point, as well as 17 turkeys in the field. I decided not to educate the whole group, so everything walked. Still had a great time being in the woods away from all the noise and hustle.

What about everyone else?
