Coming home from Iraq, moving to Bama..

Postby bailey » Fri Jul 31, 2009 10:02 am

Im coming home from Iraq in less than a month and will be stationed at Ft. Rucker. Im just looking to see if anyone needs a hunting partner in the area. I have a boat a couple dozen blocks and willing to split fuel costs. If nothing else, can anyone point me in the right direction for birds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you want to pm me i hunt some on eufaula which is about and hour and 15 from you. That is probably gonna be your closest place to hunt anything other than wood ducks. your welcome anytime.

Save your gas money. It's likely a drive to anywhere with half-way decent duck numbers, at least public. You might bank some leave and look at learning some of the areas like Eufala or Seminole, or spend 3-6 hrs and go further like Mobile or Guntersville.
About the only one I'm any help with is the latter, but I'm 2.5hrs from home now, also. Float some PMS.
Here's a thought: Let the ducks work and decoy.
