Anchorage Coastal Refuge

Have any of you guys ever registered to hunt the Anchorage Coastal Refuge? I guess all you need is a hunter safety card and to go in and register with ADF&G.

no but we have the same thing here down in juneau The mendehall state game refuge. there were problems with hunters hitting houses. so to make the owners feel good the state made us go get permits no real biggie but it makes the rich people happy and provides lots of info on the wetlands
thanks to the men and woman of the United States Coast Guard- without them I would not be here.

Stouff - Check your waterfowl regulations that the state puts out. In unit 14 it lists the Anchorage Coastal Refuge and explains what is required. I called fish and game to verify the other day and am headed in tomorrow to get this years reg. permit just so that I know what I'm looking at for next year.
