How are those tires working on the ice? I have never driven a lifted mud rig up here so am wondering. My best friends little brother used to run with a pack of guys in F250 mud trucks. Lots of seriously stuck in the mud video from the late 1980's. Most of it was in the Mat-Su Valley. And most of them had to be fixed afterwards, drive shafts and steering systems mostly. The one where they shattered a 4 inch thick cargo strap was pretty cool. Didn't think that nylon straps would do that by they do. Still safer than wire rope.

Get hooked up the the guys out there for a MRW trip to Seward Rec Camp so that you can show the folks back home what a real big fish looks like. Big ol' barn door 'but should do it. Don't forget the cooler of 15 pounds silvers to go with it.

The big tires do seem to be a problem unless its total ice which what tire does well on the ice. Driving in 2wd is not an opition, to much power to the wheels but four works well. Yea i need a few things on my truck before i go showing off but it won't be long before i start breaking stuff.
Straps no, chains yesssss, broken trucks in the mud huummmm that must be a FORD thing. My truck is a daily driver so i wont be doing anything stupid.
