Guess who's back

Postby LaRedneck » Tue May 23, 2006 3:34 pm

Whats up guys, finally getting back online, man is this going to be a trip to remember. Well in short i'm working an adverage of 12 hours a day, the tent is dusty as hell, so when i wake up i fell like a smoker from coughing up all the dust, and its hotter than snake sh#!. Gets over a hunderd ever day but i'm livein. Its pretty cool here, weve got all different branches and different countries here, aussies, brits, japs, jarheads, feet better, italians, and some iraqies. I'm gonna try and get a insentive ride with the aussies. They have a cool as amfibeisous (MS) tank like thing that you can ride along in when they go out. The japs have a badass hummer looking things that i need to get a closer look at if you know what I mean. But things are good, wife a little stressed with two kids and two dogs runnin her raggid but will make, talk to yall later.

:welcome: back babe! I replied to your post over in the honey hole.

Stouff~they are 12 hrs ahead of us. And if there is a chance he might be going out on the streets or on convoy duty he's prolly won't let you know through a post that I might read, cause I'd get upset! As far as I'm concerned, I want him to never leave the base...but that's just coming from a scared wife.

Good to see you using the rec system they have.

I have heard of the amphib that the Aussies are using, but have not seen any photos of it. If you can snap off a few and post up that would be cool.

Sand....my ex bro-n-law was over there the first time while in the Sea Bees...his sand stories were almost as good as his stories about being on the Ice.

Will do on the pics, need to find someone with a digital camera, I think we need to get paid extra fur the animal hazzards around here. I'll have to get some off the pics from the little creapy crawlies around the shop, and the camel spiders will chace after you too if you ain't watching.

Stouff if I do any work outside the wire, it would be a mobile call nearby and we would escorted by the cops so where pretty safe.

My partner was telling me about those things, he makes them sound like monsters.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

You mean these things?

Those aren't so big, but I'd rather deal with a grizzly. You can see, hear, and smell them coming. :toofunny:

I heard they chase you around just to be in the shade you provide..... Just shoot them with your sidearm.. They would probably blow up. :hammering:

Good God!
Those things are huge..Do they die easily?
I hate snakes but I think I'd rather deal with snakes than one of those spiders.

By the way we were on the penninsula last week and through Anchorage and only saw 2 trucks with DU decals...whats up with that?
It sure is pretty down your way.
