Friday Morning

Postby AK Ray » Thu Aug 31, 2006 4:54 pm

Well it looks like I can take the day off, but I will be babysitting the kid until nearly 10pm at her mom's place tonight, so I will be driving out in the dark late tonight or really early in the AM to Mud Lake and then decide about just where I am going to be setting up the boat in the grass - Gull lake to take advantage of the Swan lake shootfests or get closer to them at Leaf lake.

That Gull lake area just may be the ticket if there are enough birds out there, but with all this water from the rain the birds could be anywhere this early in the season.

Good luck to the rest of you if you are going out.

Powder Monkey, you're a teenager from Eagle River and you don't know how to get to Jim Creek or Jim Lake? I thought all yous guys knew where that was for the car burnings!

I gave detailed directions in this thread

http://www.duckhuntingchat.com/viewtopic.php?t=19725

You'll have to find your own way out of South East.
