Anybody shooting any ducks on Kodiak???

Postby swmodukr » Sun Jan 13, 2008 7:42 pm

Got a brother in the USCG up there and told me last night that a couple buddy's have been trying to talk him into getting into duck hunting and that they have been doing fairly well. He just doesn't get why we get out in the cold wet misserable weather to shoot some ducks. Told him if he'd go once and get into em he'd understand.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm in the CG too and go out every day during the season. Yes, we do VERY well up here

killing mallards, g/w teal a few gadwalls on a regular up here. Sea duck r plenty as well. birds really get pressured late in the season but if you r patient enough you can do awesome. The weather does SUCK! You just have to get over it. Dress for it and deal with it
