Had a blast!! Limited out with geese, harlequine, scoters, and a few puddleducks.

I am from southern Utah. I did not go up to duck hunt at all but turned out to be a great hunt for the birds. I had to go . I can not tell you how awesome it is to witness 100 plus scoters lined up across the way and 20-30 harlequin diving. I have never seen anything like it. I am not sure exactly what the names of the bays we hunted were but it was south of Junea. Hobart was one of the bays I think. I am truly addicted to the Alaska bird hunting now.

How far up north do you live? How is the hunting up there? I will try and send pictures, not to good at it. Let me know if you get them. Shane I tried and can't seem to get it. Any advice on pictures.

I actually live in Chugiak which is right out side of Anchorage.

The huntin is normally pretty good :smile:

yah thats what I like to see

I haven't hunted south of juneau yet but have thought of it mostly I just hunt in auke bay but hereing this i might just have to take a weekend trip south.
thanks to the men and woman of the United States Coast Guard- without them I would not be here.

The birds are absolutley everywhere. I want to go back myself. Maybe we can hook up in the future.
