Bartlet and horseshoe

Postby LIGHT12 » Sat Sep 16, 2006 2:30 pm

Has anyone been out to either lake. I heard the road to horseshoe had washed out but was wondering if it had been repaired. I got a 4 rivers yesterday and thought I would take it out for a spin someplace away from most people.
Have you ever woke up one day and said. Damn when does the season start.

I was on the tonto forest website and they say they are in a transition of power as to who runs the roads. It will be a while until it is open I believe.

That would be a good question I will look into it in the next day or two. I was thinking of taking my skiff from bartlett up the river but its only a 5horse it might take a while. that and i have never been on bartlett and don't know what it is like getting onto the river.

It goes through just gets real shallow in places and it is a long haul. you could probably accesss the lake via 4x4 coming from the young side but that is one long drive.
That's Quacktastic!
