New Duck Hunter

Hi to all,
I'm new to duck hunting and located in Tucson. Is pond hopping the only way to duck hunt Tucson or is there another place to go? My old boss use to hunt the Santa Cruz River...I don't know where but I think it was just north of Tucson. Any ideas...thanks in advance.

Hey I'm thinking about either pond jumping this weekend or Wilcox Plya. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
George

Congrats on your first birds. I found the spoonies I shot last year tasted fine. Try mixing canned jalapeno juice and teryaki sauce as an over night marinade, and then grill them. Its great with rice and some type of veggie. Try a stir fry type of veggie mix and sauce with it. I love it.
Have you ever woke up one day and said. Damn when does the season start.

Spoonies eat good. Marinade with hot mustard, cajun seasoning and a little milk. Cut into strips , roll in crushed crackers and deep fry. Yummie.
