boy, we have got alot of rain this year and its only feb. gonna be a good year for quail next season. we have some places here in yuma that were just desert dirt no plants, now they are COVERED with green! sometimes it looks like i'm in another state.the mountains are green its crazy wild flowers all over the place. i know you guys in other states or even up north here in az think i'm crazy but i'm just not used to this.
Could this be the beginning of the end of our drought? Man I hope so. Everything is soooooo green, the weather we have been getting reminds me more of Seattle weather.
we've got your normal weather up here...it's been sunny and 60 degrees for the last couple of weeks. normally we would have been mired in rain, freezing rain, snow, sleet, and generally gray days for the entire months of january and feb.
however, our LACK of rain and generally mild winter should make for a good quail/grouse season come september.
it sure looks like it! even after i posted this we had another good rain.
