Congratulations on the new addition! I used to run shorthairs years ago with my Dad when I was a kid, but when I moved out I found springers more suitable to apartment living. In addition to their well-earned reputations as great upland hunters, properly trained shorthairs can be great waterfowl dogs as well. Keep us updated on her progress.
