spray painting some bluebills?

Postby greenheader » Wed Oct 19, 2005 7:54 pm

I was thinking of taking some mallards and spray painting them into bluebills. Does andybody know what collars I should use and how to prep the dekes? Any body do this?

I didn't do any prep, but I may regret this. But then again it's pretty cheap to repaint em with the cheap ole 88 cents a can paint i use. I just used black and white paint and for eye pleasing quality I had the local hardware store mix up some sorta cobalt blue paint for the bills. I also made some redhead/canvasbacks using red primer for the heads. By no means a fancy job but I like the looks of em and with all the white on em I think they should grab some attention. Good luck.
