layout boat

I am planning on building my own layout boat ou of foam and then coating it with fabric and fiberglass. I think i have a prety good base idea of what i am going for, but am always looking for some suggestions or better ideas. let me know what you guys think. not trying to tell ya what to do,but you might get more responces if you post this over on our "waterfowl boat "page I'm sure you will get all help you need there :thumbsup:

At one time I did the same thing and after two layouts and hundreds of dollars I finally bought one. In the end it would have been cheaper and safer just to buy one that’s coast guard approved and weight rated for myself.

By the way did you know that fiberglass melts foam?
