Just a few bills

Postby ISHOOTDIVERS » Thu Nov 17, 2005 8:26 pm

Did a little layout gunning today just to find some birds and see what we had around, well the bills are definitly around took us more time to set the rig up and pull it than it did actual hunting time
Oh and it finally got cold yes that is ice all over the layout boat God I love this weather snow blowing with hard winds and shooting divers does it get any better?I don't think so

We finally got some other divers down with the freeze we had but then opened back up, haven't layout shot since last friday when we were fighting ice flows all day, I am thinking a goldeneye specific hunt is in order for me, maybe wait till second split depending on what is all froze. You guys freezing up yet up there?

I wanted to go out in the layout but the water was only about a foot deep for about a quarter mile out do to the winds. Went marsh hunting and saw zip except for a few coots.
