the birds have made it down to baltimore and i'm a waiting for opening day. I am new to diver hunting, what diver hunting i have done has been fun. I look forward to the next time i go. I have 5 dozen decoys, 5 lines 100' long and decoys every 5' I need some ideas for anchors. any ideas. I could buy them but," i like to make them myself".

fill up paper cups w/ cement and put an eye hook in them. they work great. if you wnat to go heavier you can even use coffe cans.
if you dont want to use cement, fill up 2 liter bottles, or milk jugs with sand or dirt. pretty much anythign will work

i use coffee cans filled with cement for my longlines and trotline. 2 pounds should be plenty even on a windy day on the bay.

i had access to a bunch of window weights and didnt think about using them as anchors.
