I don`t know about any Sea duck hunts out here, But there has to be some guided hunts out of san pablo bay, or Richmond Rod & Gun. I think the waters out off the coast might be a little to Big to reasonably hunt, safely anyway. I live in concord & hunt a club out on highway 37, although we had winds today up to about 45 knots we still shot pretty well, 2 guys 9 birds, 2 Cans, 4 Redheads, 2 Teal & 1 bull sprig. There`s alot of birds working over by the bay right now, should give it a try.

Thanks for the info CANBACK KILLER. I do most of my duck hunts on the refuges inland. Went out Wednesday (4 guys, 20 birds).

I would like to sea ducks at least once to give it a try. I'll look into the Richmond Rod & Gun Club.

If you're going out tomorrow - have a good shoot!

 Sounds like you guys are racking them up on the west coast. I am from the coast of Maine and would like to know what you guys call sea ducks out there ? If you want to have some real fun you need to come out here and gun the Eiders. happy New Year and happy hunting

Lundman,

Sea ducks to me would be eiders, scoters, etc. Probably to same as on the East. I'd like to try hunting on the East Coast some day, but don't know when that'll happen.

Good hunting!
