Anybody flagging for Bills? I have done it in the past with some success.

Man, I know! I feel like you should be able to shoot a limit of Blue Bills.

Think of it this way, back in the 70's you could shoot 10, they also did January bluebill seasons in my neck of the woods that were late January and I think early February, only 4 bills and bills only.Gradually throughout the coarse of time the numbers have declined.Just because certain people on certain areas see tons, I know a lot of guys off the big wtaer that used to see plenty more on little bodies of water where the birds do not really show anymore. From the mid 90's to now there are definitly fewer, we have thousands from late October on all over me, but they are still in trouble, does it suck yes, but does it need to happen yes, we don't want another canvasback or pintail situation on our hands.

Thanks,

The one blindsite I hunt is next to a cove that is loaded ( 1 to 2 thousand)with Bluebills. Makes it tought to decoy birds with only 5 dozen decoys.
