looking for a mentor

Postby addicted2ducks » Mon Sep 17, 2012 1:11 pm

hi guys, Im located in North west ga. I have been duck hunting several years now, and would like to get into diver hunting. I tried teaching myself last year but didn't really have much sucess. I scouted hard and found ducks, but I was always doing something wrong. Im looking for a mentor or someone to show me the ropes. I am willing to pay for gas, food, use my boat/decoys and scout and find my own places. I like doing my own scouting and work but just need some help setting up decoys/hide properly for divers. If you are interested and pm me.

thanks,

i'm also in NW PA. if you want to diver hunt go to erie. its deffinetely no secret spot but the ducks migrate here like no other. we run a layout and 4 longlines with some singles mixed in to break up the unnatural look of the lines. on the right day, in the right spot it is phenomenal. it takes scouting and work but well worth it.
