how much tidal change(rise/fall) do yall have up there? we have a few feet of change in the ocean here but inside the inlets, it is less than one and a half to two feet on normal tides

Tide here is about 3-5ft. Nothing huge, just enough to get you messed up every once in a while. :lol3:

And yeah, that was a RB merg. Some guys have never shot them before. We get a few every season over the sea duck rig.

That bird is on my Bucket list this year for a mounter. Last year I got a fully plumed Common and a fully plumed Hooded by chance... In my hunting cabin there is a support pole about 10" diameter near the pool table. I thought a mount of all three mergs in a diving pose "follow the leader" style, that spirals down that support pole would be B.A.
