First Diver Decoy

Postby BBK » Thu Sep 27, 2012 4:48 pm

What do you think of my first ever attempt to make a diver decoy? Looks like a diver to me... I guess its a cross between a bluebill and a coot, with a nice curl to the tail. I'm calling them "bloot decoys". Should catch some attention on the river, if not from divers than from other hunters going "what the heck are those things?!"

Why do I shoot 3.5" for geese? Because they don't make a 4" yet!

Looks good enough to me to fool some divers! Good luck! Now lets hope they are more bluebills than coots...!
Quoted from my wife while I am tapping on my iPad, "Are you talking about ducks again?"
Me, "Yep".
