just painted up these three redheads. going to make more! have to still get yellow for the eyes.

Those look good bud i just painted some up too they look almost identical to those its always more fun hunting over decoys you have painted yourself isnt it

it looks to me u used to much white. redheads r a light to medium gray. it might be the picture though. other than that they look good! especially for start out as mallards!

i did the base layer on the sides white and then dabbed grey over the white. i was looking at google images and saw the sides were slightly lighter. the top of the decoy is just plain grey. and the picture does show more white than in real life
