Everyone we killed that day looked like that, those two just had the least damage. I shot one sunday that was even bigger than that bottom one.

Yea the ones we shoot are too a loooong ways from the coast. 300 + miles Id say. I just started seeing them here 2 seasons ago. Now you can ride the roads for a bit and expect to see some somewhere.

We get a fair number of redheads during the season here in central Kansas. We usually let the redheads fly on by. Would rather fill the strap with puddle ducks. I might kill one when it's really slow......and did kill eight this past season.
They are handsome birds.
