Diver hunt

Yea man Ive had my share of cold days out there, but its all worth it in the end. That day the roads ended up closing due to an ice storm. No unnesessary travel ect. The worst weather days are my favorite.

Cold weather hunts

Mingya I know all about hot weather hunting. I went to NDakota a few years ago and it was in the 80's the whole week. Sweated my sack off in that heat with my 1200 denier waders.....

frozen lake trick

Postby IrishEyes » Thu Dec 07, 2006 4:22 pm

Years ago a friend got iced out of his favorite spot. He mixed laundry blueing in a 5 gallon bucket and spread it over the ice like a hole in the ice. Put a few decoys in the blue section and birds came in.

Big water can take a long time to freeze over.
