diver repaints

So i Decided to repaint some mallares to divers I think the redheads and can drakes are good to go. What do you guys think about the can hen I wanna get some feedback before I paint the rest

Look good. What kind of paint did you use and what colors for the redheads? I have some old mallards I plan on doing a switch paint on.

Those will do just fine. If you look at hen cans from different manufacturers you will see a wild variation. As long as they are brownish it won't really matter.

And kilz latex white for the bodies along with flat black spray paint for the chests and tails.. its a quick process I painted a 14 hens and six drakes last night. Im in the process of painting about 80 decoys. So I shoukd have about 150 diver blocks.

I've repainted a lot of divers. Yours look a lot nicer than mine! Could you tell me what colors you used on the canvasback hen? I haven't found the correct colors and I'm tired of trying. Yours looks spot on.

It was just brown primer and the tan camo paint from home depot I will get th names for u when I get back to the house

They are done with brown rustoleum pimer on the whole decoy then I paint thr middle section with flat rustoleum beige cam paint
