New duck hunter needs help identifying

Postby Dmb_77 » Sun Oct 13, 2013 1:10 pm

Howdy y'all, this might not be the right part of the site to post this question on so don't get mad at me if it's not, I shot a few mallards this morning and then this duck came in and I have no idea what it is, tastes real fishy like the other divers I've eaten. I know someone can pin this bird. Black bill black feet with some green in the wing. This is my first year duck hunting so the help is greatly appreciated!

Spend the $10 and learn to ID ducks before you pull the trigger.

Hey, here in Maine I've seen Goats on the hoods of vehicles from out of State---during deer season heading home--please ID before you squeeze !!-Widgeon.Me I like those Big White Ducks with the bright yellow Bills and yellow feet, They taste like corn fed, real fat , and decoy so easily,My Gand mother had a plastic Decoy in the Flower garden I use. After the shooting stops looks like we had a pillow fight in the mill pond..
