Hunting Pascagoula, MS?

Postby Drakenstien » Wed Oct 30, 2013 2:55 pm

The last two years I have duck hunted with buddies. This year I will have my own boat, my own gear, and lots of time. No one on here talks about Pascagoula really. Iv seen some articles but not much. I have never hunted south of 90 and had some questions. Are there ducks on graveline and can I set up on the beach(will there be a possibility of ducks). Round Island? Escatapa river?

Point Aux Chenes is better than graveline. That's all I'm gonna say.

I heard a lot about it just don't know the area real well. Know the Pascagoula river really well but have been reluctant to fish over there and trying to avoid duck hunting there because Iv heard that there is a lot of bars. Is that true

There are bars over there so you don't want to get yourself high and dry in the dark. If you are going to drive fast you are better off checking it out the day before.

There's plenty of ducks now I see em every day and some right behind my house. Will see though if they stay till season.
