Could someone clear this up? Been hearing guys using swans to attract divers into their spreads. Does anyone out there do this and have you seen this done? Thanks

I'm getting some to. When we had a pair of swans on our lake , they would have megansers, and buffleheads feeding around them. Not right next to them maybe 15 yards tops but they were always by the swans.

yep they work, with swans put them closer to shore cause they tip like a goose and put your diver dekes out deeper cause they dive it works like a confidence even more than geese cause they can see them from a long ways away. If mallards are using the lake too put them closer to the swans and you'll have a fun mixed bag day. Hope this helps.

the 2004-2005 season was the first that i really didn't use any swan... seems it was blowin' most of time were i had more to deal with than to worry about the pair i normally use.
i do like a pair sitting on the up wind side of the rig.
enjoy a pair of handmade birds but carrylites are nice too... my opinion
