painted dekes

Postby big ben » Sat Jan 29, 2005 1:26 am

i have been painting my own diver decoys, by just painting over mallard decoys. I did an awesome job on the canvasbacks, but i got lazy on the bluebills, all i did was put a white patch on each side os the wings, and painted the whole body, neck, and head black. Will this work on ringnecks, bluebills, and buffleheads ? Will they land with decoys like this ?

i would paint the whole body white. and have the tail, neck and head black. just look up g&h or plast-duk and paint them that way.

that should work just find the first to colors ducks will see are black then
white and if you have some good dekes around them ten it should work fine
thanks to the men and woman of the United States Coast Guard- without them I would not be here.
