Buddy shoots a duck out of place

Postby PADuck » Sun Dec 08, 2013 3:30 pm

A buddy of mine hunted with Jeff coats last Saturday in Ocean City Maryland and shot a young King Eider. Was luck some people have. That bird is a little out of place ain't?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that there is a small population of kings that inhabit the northern Atlantic, like northern Maine up through Canada/Greenland.

It's still a very cool kill...tell him Congrats!

the northeast gets kings regularly each season..... I have heard of several already taken this season. but it is rare to shoot them down where Jeff NORMALLY guides...

which is the Cheasapeake bay.

but he does travel at times..... did it get mentioned what state the guy shot it?
