Diver spread help

My next years spread will consist of 1 doz cans, 1/2 doz buffleheads, 5 doz blue bills, 1/2 doz black ducks, and 5 d0z mallards and a couple othe decoys mixed in. my question is will divers decoys with all the mallards?

Yup, sure will. I have never had a problem killing divers with mallards and other puddles in the spread. I usually break them up though.

I had mallards land in the diver decoys this past weekend... Two weeks ago I had redheads land in the mallard decoys, funny stuff but whatever works.

Can only see mainly the diver portion of the spread but closer to the boats and off to the left of this photo are the mallards and geese. Shot a 5 man limit of cans(no daunting feat as its only 10 birds), a few blue bills and some ringers over this. No mallards were seen all day.

just remember "birds of a feather flock together" I always get good separation between divers and puddlers this will help your puddler shoot. yes divers are dumb as hell but mallards are not.
