WHich is the best boat for Bayou Meto? 1542 or 1648WarEagle

Just wondering which is best to get aroung in. I think 16 since I could use it on the lake better. The 15 is flat and the 16 is 8 degrees. Help.

The 16 should get you around the best. You'll have a little more room for gear/passengers and that 8 degree hull will turn on a dime.

For sure a 16' for big water! For the scatters(Bayou Meto) I prefer a 15' boat because they don't slide near as much with a 25 hp motor. Some of the best holes are in places that require a lot of tricky driving!

1648 lots more stable than 1542. makes difference when 3 people jumps up to shoot
