What is your suggestion on limiting it? The shell restrictions do not seem to be making a difference. My suggestion was to only allow 2 3/4 inch shells in public timber with the thought that hunters would have to get the birds below the trees. Thoughts?

That wouldn't work. I've shot ducks further than I could imagine with 2 3/4" shells. I don't think there is anyway to regulate stupidity!

What about 2 3/4 inch shells with a #4 shot size? I agree that stupidity is the real issue but it seems to me that 3.5 inch shells make these yahoos think that a duck within sight is a shootable duck.

3.5" shells don't mean that you can shoot further. It just means you've got more shot out there. It's just one of those things we'll have to deal with.

You know that because you have experience but does the average Joe know this? That is my question.

Pot meet kettle. I can see right thru your hypocrisy with allowing guides on public land and then you don't want more people around you duck hunting.

I don't mind other hunters when they know what they are doing. Hunters using guides tend to meet this description. There is no hypocrisy here because I have been pretty open about it.

You should have stuck to the original thread. How about you quit being a little girl and allow a reasonable conversation?

I bet he is big isn't he? Probably scary too? I bet he has neck tattoos as well. That's probably why that guide punked him out of his hunting spot Huh?

Come on up and find out for yourself. He's a heck of a nice guy. It takes a lot to bring out the onrey side in him.

Why are you trying to embarrass yourself?

I would bet he is a really nice guy. I am not as big and scary as him so I have manners. Plus why should I drive to him? 30+ year old men can disagree without "fightin! in Arkansas.
